STORY
Standing before the weathered gate, I feel the rough, worn timber beneath my hand. The air is crisp, carrying the scent of damp earth and the distant whispers of a gathering storm. Beyond the gate, the undulating landscape of Middlehurst stretches out, with mountains rising in the distance, their peaks dusted with the first hints of snow. The golden hues of the tussock grass sway in the breeze, and the trees, their autumn leaves rustling, stand as sentinels against the advancing sky.
